Tracking that counts bookings, not clicks
GA4, Google Tag Manager & Search Console set up properly, so you know which channel brought each lesson, tee time, enquiry & sale, & you can stop paying for the ones that don’t.

The measurement stack
Three free Google tools, each doing a different job. Set up together, they show the whole journey from search to booking.
GA4 →
Where visitors come from, what they do on your site & which visits end in a booking or sale.
Google Tag Manager →
Sends each booking click, call & purchase to GA4 & Google Ads, once & correctly.
Google Search Console →
What you rank for, which pages Google has indexed & what’s broken.

Faults we fix all the time
Conversions counted twice, or not at all
Tags installed in both the website & Tag Manager, or never firing on the thank-you page.
Bookings that disappear
Booking platforms run on their own domain. We measure the click at minimum, & completed bookings wherever the platform allows.
Phone & email clicks ignored
Untracked, or broken by Cloudflare’s email obfuscation rewriting the links. We caught exactly this on a golf site launch.
Google Ads chasing the wrong goal
Page views or scrolls set as conversions, so smart bidding learns to buy traffic instead of bookings.
Polluted reports
Staff visits, staging sites & spam inflating the numbers you make decisions on.
No Search Console at all
Missing the free data on your rankings, indexing problems & Google’s own warnings.
Reporting you’ll read
A live dashboard you can check any time, plus a plain-English report each month that starts with bookings & sales, not jargon.
- Bookings, enquiries & sales by channel
- Cost per booking & return on ad spend
- Search rankings & AI assistant referrals
- What we did, what changed & what’s next
Tracking questions
We already have Google Analytics. Do we need this?
Maybe not. Having it installed isn’t the same as it measuring bookings correctly. We start with an audit & tell you honestly what’s working.
Can you track phone calls?
Yes. Taps on your number from mobiles as a minimum, & call tracking numbers where the volume of calls makes them worthwhile.
What about privacy & cookie consent?
We set tracking up to match your privacy policy & can add a consent banner where you need one. We’re not lawyers, so we recommend having your privacy policy reviewed by one.
